[It's been cold as hell lately but it seems you're getting video shot from outside anyway tonight, Naki; it's dark but there's enough artificial lighting nearby to warrant the feed. He's visible, anyway, if a bit strangely-lit; from the look of it he's somewhere high up, god only knows where.]

I don't suppose you're still awake...? I know you tend to keep strange hours.

[As usual, Naki's in that sparsely-decorated room. There are a couple of Inkays milling around in the background of the feed, but otherwise everything seems perfectly normal on his end.]

[He just laughs a bit at that, though at least he's being gentle about it.]

That depends on how willing you are to go outdoors; it's ridiculously cold out here.

I get you. It's so annoying, not being able to really hurt anyone. I mean, sure, you can punch 'em and sometimes you can kill 'em, but they just come back and it doesn't really matter. I also really miss the sight of blood - it's not something I ever thought about before showing up here, but holy shit I haven't seen blood in months. If I was even slightly masochistic I'd try to find some way to cut myself 'cause I really miss seeing it. And smelling it obviously. And the taste...

See? Isn't it such a pain? I got a fucking papercut and that's the most blood I've seen since I've been here. It's awful.

This wouldn't be so agitating if I weren't at that battle that took place in October - and people died there, surely, I killed one of them myself...but there wasn't any blood that I can really recall.

I can't believe there wasn't any blood though! I guess part of the problem is that weapons are pretty much impossible to find here, but you'd think Pokémon would be capable of that shit. You use Night Slash or something on a guy and the fucker should bleed!

The problem the example you just cited is the fact that the humans just...vanish, when you do things like that. It kills them.

[Tsukiyama shifts position a bit, the camera going a bit jittery while he does so, though he doesn't seem to be going anywhere.]

...The worst part about it, I think, is the notion that if we were still as we are back home, we probably would survive something like that. And we'd be angry enough at it to hit back.

...Has it ever occurred to you to try fighting any of your Pokémon, through curiosity? Apparently people seem to get it into their heads to try it once in a while here.

But seriously, that's really fucking dumb, why would you pick a fight with something that can summon fucking thunder from the sky?

Well, I don't think it's picking a fight, amore - I think it's more like sparring than anything.

...I'm never really sure how I feel about that, actually - I mean, on the one hand that adds an interesting element, yes, but on the other if it's not killing you that means it's holding back, right? That's a little insulting.

Well, yeah, but they're on a whole different field than humans. If they don't hold back and they kill you, they'll probably feel bad about it.
